I’ve got just the book for you! Circa 1950-something and titled “An Easy Way To Better Handwriting”, the book is filled with writing exercises and lots of tips for handwriting improvement. Also discovered at a garage sale, although not the same one!

We can tag along on each other’s trips…I’ll follow you to SCRAP and you can follow me to garages and dusty attics! I heard there was an amazing estate sale at one of the Alamo Square Painted Ladies this weekend, but I was out of town. Do you know anyone who stopped by?

I have about a million (well, maybe only one hundred or so) of those “Gregg’s Shorthand Manuals” from the 19-teens…I always tell myself that I’m going to learn it, so that I really can write in secret code, but somehow I never manage to find the time. Jennie, We may have a long hand (cursive) workshop plan. Andrea and I have talked about it…will check in with you about it when we get it together. My term as President of Friends of Calligraphy ends this month but my interest in written letterforms and its advantages continues.
